The Youth Life Learning Center of Richmond is committed to nurturing the child, strengthening the family, and rebuilding the community. We believe that early support for children helps to ensure their successful future. Our comprehensive after-school and full-summer program services aim to help children develop into leaders who positively influence their families and communities.
We make a long-term investment in each child’s academic and character development. Children enroll in the program between the ages of five and ten. These students are then eligible to remain in the program until they graduate from high school.
Richmond's first Youth Life Learning Center is located in the community of Glen Lea. It is an at-risk community and in an area that offers few low-cost program alternatives for children. We provide that alternative in an environment that is in need of help. Please consider partnering with us to change this community.
The Youth Life Foundation of Richmond is an affiliate of the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation in Washington, D.C.
