Jason Richardson

The Jason Richardson Foundation proudly presents Full Court Press. Full Court Press is the umbrella program from which all the other initiatives of the Jason Richardson Foundation are derived. Its objective is to address all issues that are of importance to today's youth. It utilizes basic principles from the game of basketball such as attacking, blocking, and rebounding to illustrate key fundamentals of life. At the core of this initiative is the desire to ensure that all High School athletes strive to be scholar-athletes, preparing for all the elements of life as they engage in our all-encompassing program.

MAN-UP FORUM
This is an open forum to all men of the community that encourages dialogue among boys and men. In this forum boys and men are challenged to bridge the communication gap between fathers and sons. The boys are encouraged to ask questions and share their experiences on a plethora of issues that directly impact their lives. This forum encourages the men to "Man Up" to their responsibilities and take accountability for their actions and reflect how their actions affect their families; most importantly their sons. All areas of life are discussed bar none.

DIAMONDS IN THE ROUGH
A mentoring program designed for young women ages 8 thru 19. This program has been designed to manage the concerns of young women, their self-esteem, and negative self-images. There is a core component that places emphasis on "Single Parent Moms" and overcoming the obstacles that most often affect them. The major function of Diamonds is to effectuate change in the lives of young women. Its goal is to remove their rough exteriors through training and mentoring to reveal the beautiful diamond that lies beneath the surface. The core belief is that every young woman has value and our mission is to help them realize their potential.

G.A.N.G.S. (Grooming a New Generation)
A mentoring program designed for males ages 8 thru 19. This program was implemented as a means of following up with issues presented in the "Man Up" Forum. It has been designed to engage issues that confront our young men on a daily basis. Our scope of services is broad encompassing everything from group therapy to one-on-one counseling sessions. This program will provide the necessary tools to help them lead a more focused and productive life by fostering an environment that encourages proper habits for manhood. This program will serve as a right-of-passage for boys who come from homes where the father is displaced from the home environment.

PROJECT 2018
Is a program organized by Jason his team of advisors commissioned to allocate funding to send 100 youth to college by year 2018 through partnerships with colleges, universities, and corporate America.

Hey Jason, Just wanted to send a what’s up? to you man. I love the programs that you have going on for children! My son and I are huge fans of yours and we can’t wait to meet you one day (that is what we believe) soon! We have a nonprofit organization (Mr. Perfect’s Basketball Fundamentals)in Sierra Vista, Arizona. It is for ages 5-18. My wife and I mentor and assist children and parents in developing healthy life skills; believing that we can help our community and the children here through professional basketball fundamentals. Our city will not have the funds to build a facility for our children until 2027. I have been blessed with 5 children and I know my 2 boys are looking forward to having a basketball career. I just want to give them (and every other child around here) a fair chance! I understand that you are busy with the upcoming year and we are looking forward to a CHAMPIONSHIP, but if this is something that you would like to be a part of, please contact myself or my wife Amy. It would be a great long term profit because our community does not have a facility for our children. 520-223-6814 223-6916 or perfectfundamentals@yahoo.com. We need help in southern Arizona, soon!!!!
