The Denny Hamlin Foundation will focus primarily on raising awareness and funding for the specific needs of individuals afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis. As such, we will partner with organizations whose purpose is to research treatment and to provide care for individuals with Cystic Fibrosis. The Foundation will also support chronically ill children with other debilitating illnesses.
To carry out these purposes, the Foundation will conduct events to generate funding as well as accept contributions, grants, and gifts of money and property, and will invest the same and/or distribute to other exempt organizations described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
As the Denny Hamlin Foundation was just granted its tax exempt status, we are in the process of building out DennyHamlinFoundation.Org which will provide comprehensive information on how to get involved and support the Denny Hamlin Foundation. We have 2 grandchildren with CF. Luke is 5 and Lilya is 3 years old. We are active with the CF Great Strides walk and other local fund raising events. We are big Nascar fans of Denny Hamlin, and we hope to meet him someday. More than anything, we want him to know how much we appreciate his contribution to CF. Thank you, Denny, and pray for Luke and Lilya. We live in the Atlanta area, so we’ll be rooting for you on Labor Day.

I am a 37 year old adult living with Cystic Fibrosis. I received a double lung transplant in 2004. I am very happy to see Mr. Hamlin working to support such a great cause. I lost my sister in 1984 at the age of 26 to the disease. Mr. Hamlin, thank you soooo much for your support and bringing awareness to the public….there are still heroes in sports after all.
