In 2003, The Andre Johnson Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, was founded as a way to give back to the community and to showcase the positive lifestyles and contribution of professional athletes. The foundation is committed to empowering and developing youth from single-parent homes, into responsible and educated citizens. Johnson wants to convey to all youth that no matter what your circumstances are, if you work hard, you can achieve your goals. He seeks to encourage today’s youth to reach their full potential in both athletic and academic pursuits. Youngsters from communities in Houston, Texas and Miami, Florida are the beneficiaries of the foundation’s programs.

just wanted to say.. Im a big fan of Andre Johnson. and love what he does with the children in the community. the 80 seconds the does with less fortunate children is just awesome.
I wanted to make a comment about a golf tournament thats being played this saturday the 20th of Feb. It was suppose to benefit the Andre Johnson Foundation, or atleast thats how they marketed the golf tournament. Im such a big fan that i was super excited to be able to meet Andre in person. Well , late last week. i received an email saying that Andre Johnson and his peeople were pulling out, and pretty much speaking in a not so nice way about Andre and his uncle,agent and foundation. i know these things happen all the time. i just wanted to know if the foundation did know about this tournament.. i dont want to feel like i was tricked in thinkin that there could have been the possibility of Andre Johnson doing such Tournament. I love what Andre Johnson does for the community.. Die heart fan of his.

please .. say hi to Johnson for me. tell him he’s got a foursome team .. that was really looking foward to meeting him.
