In 2007, Al Harrington launched The Al Harrington Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit organization established to provide educational and life-enriching opportunities for youth affected by poverty, illness, abuse or neglect in New Jersey, the place Al still calls ‘Home.’
Through strong relationships with the State, Media and partnering Foundations, The Al Harrington Foundation aims to raise public awareness of children at risk and offer dedicated programs to encourage children to fully develop and realize their potential.
The Al Harrington Foundation encourages children to realize that health, personal development, education and enjoyment of life are not a luxury but a right!
