Tennessee National comprises 1,463 acres situated along some 3.5 miles of water frontage on the south side of Watts Bar Lake formed by the Tennessee River in the area known locally as Matlock Bend. This unique site with wide water frontage and rolling hills is located approximately 35 minutes from Knoxville, Tennessee. The development will include a Greg Norman designed 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse together with 1,705 residential units, full service marina and waterfront village, wellness center, network of parks and hiking trails, activities center, and swim and tennis facilities.

GOLF
Tennessee National is home to the latest Greg Norman-designed Signature Golf Course. Norman, who has spent his 30-year career as the world's top-ranked player applied his experience and expertise while designing the course. Using streams, vegetation and topography in the design, the course is definitely one of a kind with plenty of room for every type of player. The official groundbreaking of the course took place in November of 2004. The clubhouse, which will break ground in March of 2006 will feature a golf pro shop, a snack bar, men's and women's locker facilities, a dining room and meeting facilities. Facilities are expected to formally open in the Summer of 2006. Tennessee National plays to a par 72 with the front nine setting up with two early par 5's. The back nine will transition into longer holes including water views with a total course distance of 7,400 yards.
