Description Chris Webber's Center Court is the ideal place for families, teams and friends! Opened in 2006, Center Court with C-Webb is a great place for a unique dining experience. The restaurant's innovative design not only displays the door of authentic basketball hoops and a wood court floor, but 34 flat screens, 5 jumbotrons, booth seating and a collection of memorabilia for a first class dining experience and atmosphere. Cuisine is served in generous portions and the menu features an extensive list of salads, sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, entrees, soul food and a kids menu. The bar features unique cocktails, reserve wine list by the bottle and a Happy Hour. Outdoor fire pits, flat screen TVs and cigar smoking gives Center Court the best patio in Natomas. Private room is available for special events, corporate meetings, team gatherings and parties for groups of 65 or more (see details below). Description NBA All Star Chris Webber and his family created The Chris Webber Foundation, a public nonprofit corporation, in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan in 1993. The Foundation's mission is to provide positive educational and recreational opportunities to youth, particularly those who are disadvantaged. Central to that mission are four educational objectives: 1) to encourage and motivate children to read, 2) to help children develop the foundational skills they need to become good readers 3) to distribute books to children and encourage them to start home libraries and 4) to provide reading instruction for parents in family literacy programs. Over the years The Webber Foundation has provided academic scholarships, educational incentives, books, special events, field trips, tickets, toys, clothes and more. Their outreach has extended into the following communities: Detroit, Sacramento, Oakland, Atlanta, Washington DC, San Antonio, Jackson, New York and various cities affected by Hurricane Katrina. In his hometown of Detroit, The Chris Webber Foundation created Wee Readers and C-Webb's Closet. The Wee Readers program will provide over 600 newborn babies with their first book. The newborns will receive a book a month for the first 9 months of their lives, creating their own home library through a partnership with Mother's Friend. Through their relationship with Gifts in Kind, the Foundation opened C-Webbs Closet, which provides Detroit families with toiletries, clothing, toys, books and more.
