The OTF Mission
Off the Field is dedicated to creating an environment that promotes relationships and alliances among spouses of active and retired players of the National Football League to be used as a resource in the communities where we live and work by raising money and devoting time to local, national and global organizations that strengthen the family unit.
Mission Central Focus
Promoting awareness and strengthening of the family unit is the central focus of Off The Field. By addressing the issues facing today’s society, through our “Blueprint for the strong family unit”, we will collectively tackle some of the blatant problems facing our American Families.
Blueprint for The Strong Family Unit
Off the Field’s definition of what creates a strong family unit – OTF’s central theme or belief:
1. A safe home
2. Quality healthcare
3. Quality education
4. Safe, reliable, affordable childcare
5. Quality support system for single parents or a primary stay-at-home caregiver
6. Clean enviornment
7. Family counseling in times of hardship
8. Freedom to decide what is best for their own family unit
A Note From The President
Off the Field was founded February 16, 2006. Our membership is comprised of active and retired NFL players wives. As an organization we strive to utilize our network of women to enrich the lives of those in our surrounding communities where we live. OTF has donated over 350,000 thousand dollars to several worthy charities and we are dedicated to raising funds and creating awareness for local and national charitable organizations.
