Major League Mentoring, Inc. was founded by former major league baseball player Larry Hisle. As an orphan Larry credits much of his success to the guidance and support he received from compassionate adults. Larry’s lifelong passion to better the lives of young people is rooted in these experiences and inspires us to offer our talents and time to the young men and women of Milwaukee.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Major League Mentoring is to partner underserved young people with trained, caring and actively supported mentors. Through this consistent relationship, youth will receive guidance and inspiration needed to achieve their true potential.
OUR VISION
Major League Mentoring envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support, which in turn allows each of them to develop into their full potential capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.
