Founded in 2004, the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) empowers children and single-parent households through innovative programming and initiatives, strengthening the ties between family members and building hope through education, physical fitness and better health for those dealing with adversity. Among the foundation’s most important national programs are the Playground Build Initiative, in partnership with State Farm®, which is focused on developing family-centered safe play spaces where children can be physically active in a multidimensional environment that encourages creative play; and “Meal & a Movie” events, in partnership with the Coca-Cola Company, which provide disadvantaged families with the opportunity to spend quality time together enjoying a special meal and viewing a not-yet-released family-friendly movie. The LJFF has also partnered with Nickelodeon to encourage kids to be physically fit and environmentally aware with the “Big Green Help” Initiative.

At your young age & accomplishmants & material means, you have made it and you might be able to help our 24th annual grand convention of the University of the Philippines Medical Alumni Society in America (UPMASA) to be hosted by Indiana-Kentucky-Ohio-Tennessee (IKOT) Chapter at Gaylord Opryland Hotel & Convention Center, Nashville, TN (The VOLUNTEER State) on July 1st-5th, 2009. It has become a family trip for most attendees with the parent/doctor attending the continuing medical education (CME) while the young ones enjoy the Exhibits & the amenities in the area. The welcome reception & the gala night showcase the non-medical talents of the parent/doctors serving as inspiration to their children. I have been planning to invite a model in the four-state compnents of our IKOT Chapter and you have been there on top for the state of Ohio. Could you grace our convention and be an inspiration for our young ones while we, the young once can get your autograph as well as receive your sponsorship to our barely four-year old Chapter which I formed in 2005 after 12 years’ labor of love in 2005. Come & join us and see the Filipino medical community volunteerism with the whole family. All we can offer you is one of the first UPMASA Volunteer Certificates which we are offering for the first time, very appropriate in Tennessee, the VOLUNTEER State. The IKOT Chapter-UPMASA can later on be partners with your Foundation’s goals. BTW, just like you & tiger Woods, I was also born on December 30th, but much, much older. I can send a formal letter of request and the levels of sponsorship if I can be given your Foundation’s e-mail address or postal mail. This sounds late for our date of July 1st-5th, 2009 since all our applications for educational grants were denied by the pharmaceutical industries.

Since 1985 the development of Safe Kid Club was based on events surrounding the Atlanta child murders. I feel that the program in place now is the best program available. Please view the information provided. Change from the bottom up; our kids, America’s kids. I have been in photography for 34 years. In 1985 until 1991 I did a weekly article for Akron Beacon Journal called Stark County Neighbors, the same article later changed to County Lines. Currently the public is buying into I.D.’s in parents/guardians wallets. My program offers the following: media page, police page, a medical page and a home page with local safety numbers. Slogan: Your foresight may be the light during a child’s dark moment. This is the first program directed at media ready. The media pays attention to two things; money and public appeal in numbers. Parents/guardians have jumped into other programs. It’s time they leap into something better and safer. As a sponsor, your information and or logos would be placed in appropriate area on the Safe Kid Club form. I also make military dog tags. Why? It’s the oldest form of ID in the United States. Red tags for special medical alerts. Medical inserts are also available for extensive medical histories. I have directed a similar letter to the CEO of both Head Start Program & Boys Scouts & Girls Scouts of America. I would like to pose a question. Are you familiar with any programs currently able to use mass communication in the event of a missing person report? Are you familiar with a program that has a law enforcement page? Are you familiar with a program that offers a medical page / inserts for medical histories such as extended history, prescription history, allergy history and also a home safety page with icons to identify emergency phone numbers? Please view samples of PDF above you could turn kid safety into a historic treasure. Mr Le Bron James, will you please make a comment concerning my efforts for kid safety? America’s Kids’ ! A missing alert in a family would be like losing light after light in a home without control you find yourself without hope without direction. No other program gives a foundation for safety like Safe Kid Club compare the following Media Page , Police Page, Medical Page with inserts for long histories, and Home Safety for local first alerts. This public is filled with copy cats if it happens I’ll do it again. We must be examples of a new and better direction for kid safety. Uniform, Unify, United, these are not just words. A campaign base on kid safety is a very powerful tool with this one tool you can touch generation without trying. This program is the best safety program on the market any one thing about Safe Kid Club makes it much better than any other program being done. The way you put out mass communication is by having a format that is suitable for news organizations.

LeBron is a wonder asset to Akron and Cleveland. I know the area well as my father was from C. Falls and mother from Kent. Many summer days were spent in Akron – especially the Soap Box Derby! To whom it may concern,
I am having an event on April 10th, 2010 called Cleveland’s Got Sole. I had the event in March of 2008 and it was a great success. The event is a sneaker showcase for people that collect, wear, sell, and trade shoes. We had a great turnout for the last show and things are looking to be much bigger this time. Last time we were able to donate $2,500 to The Finish Line Youth Foundation. I was wondering if The Lebron James Family Foundation would be interesting in participating in this event and be willing to accept a donation from the proceeds of the event? I would like to thank all the poeple at the LeBron James Foundation for all the work you have done for the community. I have made a website, http://www.keepthekingincleveland.com I know my opinion will not make a difference in LeBron’s decision to leave or stay. I just want him to know what an asset he is to all of Ohio. I also think it is rediculous the story I saw on the news last night. I personally believe those ladies have nothing better to do then complain and try to make a buck. They recieved a signed jersey and bascketball, but not enough…. I don’t think they should have even got that. It makes me sick how people think they are entitled to things they never worked for! LeBron is an amazing athlete who obviously worked really hard to get where he is. I applaued him for that! He deserves it all and more.

Brehm Preparatory School basketball team excels athletically but the players are hampered by severe learning disorders. Brehm empowers its students to overcome adversity through a personalized, intense education developing the whole person. LeBron, you are their hero, an excellent role model for the players. What [they] see also is the human side of you. The caring. Brehm’s reputation attracts students from throughout the world, internationals not just basketball players. I am a retiree, a trustee who has witnessed the change our school makes in the lives of these handicapped youth. I am merely trying to hustle money, financial support for the team to travel to destinations where the really good teams play. our Robotics team, Megahurts were Sliver Medalists in national competition this year. See what I mean about developing the whole person.
I am forwarding a letter introducing you to the athletes together with their schedule. No high schools in this area can challenge our guys. It takes money to travel. I am hopeful The Foundation can see the value of providing some financial support for basketball. Thank you.
