Heading to Cincy
So just liked planned, I took my month off then started training 2 weeks before leaving for Richmond. We arrived here Thursday and played Saturday night beating S. Korea 3-1. I played the first 45, felt great and played well. Pia brought in two players who weren’t on the Olympic roster to get some playing time and decide whether to put them on contract so we have a ton of numbers especially in the backline. Its nice to have subs available since the past games we only had 3 subs.
We are hanging at the hotel, watching the NFL and getting ready to head to Cincinnati! Although the weather is going to be freezing, I am pretty excited to be heading home to play. We will practice Monday and Tuesday then head to the Boathouse Tuesday night for ribs and Grater’s Ice Cream. It’s not my typical night before a game meal but what can you do? We play Wednesday night at 7:30 at Paul Brown Stadium. My entire family will be at the game so I am really looking forward to it.
We have one more game on the tour in Tampa, Sat. Nov 8th at 7 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium. Then it is back to Cincinnati for the week as St. Ursula Academy is holding a pep rally, Nov 12th at 2 p.m. and I will be honored before the Bengals game on Nov. 16th. Otherwise I will be enjoying my time with my family and friends. More to come…
