We certainly have come a long way since my initiation into the world of wines. On my first trip to the United States, when I was chosen to represent Australia in the 1976 World Cup of Golf in Palm Springs, I made it a point to soak up as muchof the culture as I possibly could, and that included trying California's celebrated wines.
Since then I've traveled the world for golf, business and pleasure, and throughout this time, my enjoyment and interest in fine wine grew. In the 1990's, I partnered with some very renowned winemakers from Beringer Blass to launch Greg Norman Estates. Our commitment to superior quality has been rewarded with critical acclaim, competition recognition, and market success. These factors, and my abiding appreciation and enjoyment of California wine, have led me to my newest venture, Greg Norman California Estates.
Without realizing it, the foundation for my new California wines was established many years ago. I am very fortunate to take something that I am passionate about, something that is both a business and a hobby, and expand to a geographic area that I have grown very fond of over the years.
From the very beginning, I have made it the goal of Greg Norman Estates to over-deliver from both a quality and a value perspective. I believe that every bottle of my wine delivers on that promise.
