Spread out over nearly 300 acres in sunny Florida is the most advanced, state-of-the-art, multi-sport training and educational facility ever created for young athletes.
With two private academic schools on campus and students from over 46 states and 80 countries, IMG Academies (IMGA) is the largest and most ambitious school ever created for devoted young athletes. And this is not just a school for youth. Nowhere else in the world can this many professional athletes bond in one place during their off season to train within such a structured environment. IMGA delivers world-class sports training experiences to over 12,000 junior, collegiate, adult and professional athletes each year.
The David Leadbetter Golf Academy training facility is located at Academy Park, which is within walking distance of the main campus. This state of the art facility boasts a 30-acre double ended driving range with target greens, as well as a short game training complex that includes sand bunkers, a synthetic turf putting green and chipping/pitching greens with Tiff Eagle grass. There is also an onsite administration building with video rooms and club fitting.
Coming in 2007 is a brand new 7,300 sq. ft. Golf Administration Building (featuring a putting studio, an indoor hitting bay with state-of-the-art biomechanics, club fitting/testing facility, pro-shop and numerous video rooms).
