In January 2002, the Chang Family Foundation launched the Christian Sports League (CSL) in hopes that it would be used as a vehicle for local churches and organizations to share the Gospel through organized and competitive sports. CSL’s mission is to introduce people to Christ by using sports as an avenue through which individuals can see, hear, and experience the Christian faith.
CSL places a premium on sportsmanship and God-honoring conduct. We make every effort to ensure a professional, organized, fun and safe environment for physical play and fellowship. Team captains play an integral role in maintaining the integrity and vision of the league, as well as the level of fellowship and camaraderie on their teams. Our hope is CSL provides people with a fun setting that encourages friends, family and colleagues on and off the court.
The Chang Family Foundation currently has CSL branches in Seattle, WA and Orange County, CA. Potential branch sites include: Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Denver. If your church is interested in participating or for more information, contact us at cffoundation@mchang.com
