Beijing Here I Come!

Such a crazy journey since tearing my ACL last May. I knew the World Cup wasn’t a possibility but I was hoping that just maybe I’d give myself a chance to make this team. Since day one, I knew that if I was patient and smart about my rehab I could work hard enough to be back in the mix.

From the choice of my doctor in James Tibone, to my rehab with Omi Iwasaki, and then training with James Galanis, I knew that they were the best in the buisness and after that it was all about hard work and a little luck. I know everything happens for a reason, so hopefully it means winning another Gold after a disappointing World Cup. An amazing new coach with a fresh philosophy, some key youngsters to add to the depth and a core group of Veterans with Olympic experience…I hope this will be a good mix and we have a lot to prove. I am just so lucky to have a chance to be a part of another Olympics and can’t wait to represent my country. I have included the US Soccer release below. Thanks to all of you for the support through my injury and over the years. Talk soon. Go USA!
