You probably know this, but sports psychology tells us that your attitude toward Giambi contributed to your mistake, as his prior success against you made you a little nervous facing him, and those jitters contributed to your bungled throw. For christ's sake, even if you think the dude can hit your stuff, don't go telling interviewers (or anyone) that. Here's my suggestion, for what it's worth: F*CK Giambi. He's a steroid-abusing fat fool, over the hill and picking up speed. Next time you see him he won't get a hit. Walk out there like you own the bastard, and then do it. As some of you are aware,his mom watches every game(not just when he pitches).(also up at 3a.m some days).Ryan's sisters also watch whenever the time difference is feasible (0ne sister in Hong Kong, and one on Queensland's Gold Coast,8 hours north of Sydney) so he is always supported. I missed the game, but reading Jeff’s write up of your performance was far better telling than looking at the box score.
