INTRODUCTION
Antonio Pierce has established himself as one of the best middle linebackers in his eight seasons in the NFL. His greatest feat however, has been in the success of the Antonio Pierce Youth Fund and the impact he has made on the lives of young people. The Youth Fund provides two $5,000 scholarships per year to deserving Bermudan high school students wishing to pursue their dreams of a higher education. The Antonio Pierce Celebrity Golf Classic is the premiere fundraiser for the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund. The following is an outline for the event along with sponsorship levels and benefits.
TOURNAMENT OUTLINE
• Format – Fivesomes, made-up of 4 sponsor guests or individual entrants, and 1 celebrity. A fun and relaxed golf outing for male and female golfers of all levels of playing ability – whether with customers, employees, friends or family, you are ensured of an enjoyable day of golf. Hole prizes, contests for skill and luck, team prizes, raffle drawings, putting contests, free use of the practice facilities, breakfast, luncheon and much more will make this a memorable day.
• Celebrities – Invited celebrities include national sports, entertainment and media celebrities.
• Host Golf Course – Belmont Hills is a semi-private course that offers a demanding round of golf on magnificent greens overlooking Bermuda’s famous turquoise blue sea. Every one of the 6,100 yards of intense bunkering, multi-tiered greens and slender fairways will thoroughly test your putting and driving skills.While playing on this challenging contoured course, golfers will be surrounded by some of the most picturesque tropical landscapes on the island, including Hamilton Harbour and the Great Sound.
• Sponsors – Past corporate sponsors of the Antonio Pierce Celebrity Scholarship Weekend have included some of the nation’s most prestigious companies and organizations.
