Description
Virtua welcomes NFL Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb and his wife Raquel McNabb as honorary co-chairs of the first anniversary Virtua Gala. This black-tie event includes a cocktail reception, a sit-down dinner, entertainment, dancing to live music, a silent auction, and the Super 50/50 Raffle.
Date/Time – Saturday, March 6, 2010 beginning at 6:00 pm
Location – Borgata Hotel, Casino and Spa, Atlantic City, New Jersey
Entertainment – Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons
Attire – Black Tie
Registration
Reservations are required, and should be made by February 10, 2010. Register online, or click here to print a registration form to complete and return to the Foundation office. Contact Virtua Foundation at 856-355-0830 for additional registration or event information.
Ticket Cost – $375 per guest ($750 per couple)
Beneficiary
Proceeds from the 2010 Virtua Gala will benefit the newly established John M. Tedeschi Pediatric Institute – a $25 million initiative designed to improve the health of children in the region, the state and throughout the nation, and to elevate Virtua’s pediatric program to a world-class level. Raffle
Tickets are $100 each to enter the Virtua Gala Super 50/50 Raffle. Winner will receive 50% of the raffle revenue. Last year’s total collection was $38,900, half of which was distributed to the holders of the winning ticket. Individuals may join together to purchase a ticket. The drawing will take place at the Gala, but participants need not be present to win. Silent Auction
The 2010 Gala will include a silent auction featuring items donated by Virtua’s friends and local businesses. If you are interested in contributing a tax-deductible donation of a product or service for the silent auction, please contact us at 856-355-0830. As a donor, you will receive recognition in the program distributed to over 850 attendees as well as on signs displayed at the event.

Overnight Plans?
The Foundation has reserved a block of rooms for a group rate of $315 plus tax for the night of March 6, 2010 at the Borgata Hotel & Casino. To ensure price and availability, please make your reservation by February 10, and refer to the “Virtua Gala” when you call. Note that there are a limited number of rooms available, and they will be assigned by the hotel on first come/first served basis. You may make your reservations by calling 1-866-692-6742. We recommend that you arrive early to check in on the day of the event. Often the lines for valet parking and for hotel registration are quite long.
Directions
NJ-42 South bares left into Atlantic City Expressway East. Continue east on the AC Expressway for approximately 45 miles. Take Exit #1 toward Convention Center/Marina/Brigantine. Proceed through the Atlantic City/Brigantine Connector. Turn left at Renaissance Pointe/Borgata Exit.
Parking
Self-parking is available in the Borgata Parking Garage. A limited amount of valet parking is also available for guests of the Gala, and will be provided on a first come/first served basis. The valet parking line at Borgata often gets backed up. Make sure to arrive early to allow time for parking.
