Mission Statement
The Pete Newell Tall Women’s Basketball Camp goal is to continue to do what Pete Newell did his whole life-to teach the fundamentals and footwork of the game of basketball to young players. The ability to read a defense and react to the defender’s position is a key component of the Pete Newell method. The part to whole teaching method is used beginning with a 1 on none to 1 on 1, 2 on 2, and so on.
